This is a motif inspired by Indian woodblock printing techniques. The intricate shapes vibrant colors shown in Indian motifs influenced the design of newly created patterns, which were cut into  woodblocks using a laser cutter. These cutouts were  used to display the patterns by applying ink and stamping them onto a 17’ by 30’ cotton towel.
